Leonardo “Cascao” Saggioro

Leo Saggioro is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Ricardo Marques. Leo is often known as ‘Cascão,’ a nickname from a famous comic book character from the collection ‘Turma da Mônica’ (translates to Monica’s Gang) by Mauricio de Sousa. Saggioro was called this from when he was a child due to his haircut. Leo Saggioro is a representative for the Brazilian Top Team (BTT) in the sport’s international competitive circuit. Saggioro is recognized by many as one of the greatest feather weights of his generation. He is known for his distinctive style of grappling in which he uses grinding pressure and a strong half guard.
