Bruno Malfacine
Bruno Malfacine began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the tender age of 12 years old in his hometown Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro. Initially Malfacine started training the science of Jiu-Jitsu with the intentions of learning self-defense, but only after a few months of training, it was noticeable to his piers that Malfacine would become one of the greatest competitors ever.
Malfacine won his first World Title as a Purple Belt at 17 years old, his second World Title at 18 years old this time in the brown belt division and was promoted to the prestigious rank of Black Belt by Professor Vinicius Amaral by the age 19.
At the age of 20, Malfacine won his first Black Belt World title at the first IBJJF World Championship in the United States. Malfacine moved to São Paulo In 2008 to train at Alliance head qusarters with Professor Fabio Gurgel. At Alliance, Malfacine focused on both becoming a better competitor and took the experience to learn from one of the best coaches of our sport. In addition the experience Malfacine had training at Alliance head quarters helped him attain a better understanding on how to become a world class instructor.
