Andre Galvao
Prof. Galvão is a jiu-jitsu icon and multiple-time world champion who heads the Atos team in San Diego, CA. Originally from Brazil, Galvão moved to San Diego, CA to open his academy and further grow the Atos team. Today you will find him on top of the podium of all the major tournaments or at Atos Headquarters where he shares his love and passion for jiu-jitsu with his students. Throughout the duration of the year, you will find Prof. Galvão conducting seminars in various countries and continents worldwide, spreading his techniques, philosophies, and Brazilian Jiujitsu lifestyle, motivating and inspiring people worldwide. Aside from being the founder & head coach of the Atos Jiu-Jitsu, he is also a husband, father, missionary, and President of the Atos Jiu-Jitsu Association.

Galvão conquered the Pan 2017 & 2018 as head coach as well.

Galvao won his world titles in 2004 (weight & absolute) as brown submitting all his opponents back to back. Fighting won tournaments in one week (IBJJF Worlds & CBJJO World Cup). The only fight Galvao didn’t win via submission was the semi-finals of IBJJF in his weight division.
